Machine composition:

• A rigid and robust basic supporting pyramid structure, electro-welded with steel sheet on which the upper talk applicator unit are supported and height adjustment can be performed by treaded screw system.
• The mounting system allows a 360 degree pan rotation of the application unit and can therefore be used in bot line directions.
• The powder application chamber which, depending on the size of the model, is divided into 4 or 5 compartments by means of the brush holder bulkheads.
• Semi-circular brushes are the generators of electrostatic energy that are required for the talcum powder to be evenly attracted and adhere to the entire insulation surface of the cables.
• The semi-circular brush sets, made of nylon or bristle are inserted into pockets carved into the dividing bulkheads present in the powder application chamber. An additional set of brushes on the inlet and outlet sides prevent talc from escaping.
• An agitator, driven by a dust-proof gear motor and equipment with two propeller blades that according to the diameter of the cable can be adjusted by moving it axially on the shaft and re-locked in seconds with screws.
•  All models are also available with articulated control box and automatic shutdown system of the device when the line stops by means of a photocell.
• Four self-steering wheels, whose tracks are covered with special abrasion resistant rubber and which are equipment with a parking brake, allowing the device to be positioned and integrated on various production lines
• An anti-tip stabilizing foot that allows the machine to be locked in the working position
• A talk collection tank in which the excess talk, removed from the cable, is collected in a container that will be supplied by the customer to put it back in the circuit
• An additional electro-pneumatic vibrator, controlled by the same timer as hopper preventing excess talc from sticking
• A threaded shaft with three actuating arms mounted on top of the central support column allows the exact height adjustment of the talc application chamber to be adjusted according to the axis of the cable path
• Two cable guide pulleys whose position can be varied by means of levers allowing the centric passage of the cable through the machine.

Feeder hopper equipped with:

• Two windows to allow visual control of the level on two opposite sides
• Talc level monitoring sensor
• Warning light and acoustic alarm that are activated in the event of lack of talc
• Talc outlet flapper valve
• Electro-pneumatic vibrator, controlled by a timer, necessary to prevent the talc from clumping together and ensuring it fluidity
