Material Composition & Internal Protection
- Inner Surface Protection:
- Coated with a thin layer (tenths of a millimeter) of:
- Fluoridated rubber (FKM)
- Or fluoridated silicone (e.g., FVMQ)
- Enhances chemical resistance, heat resistance, and longevity
- Coated with a thin layer (tenths of a millimeter) of:
- Co-extrusion Techniques:
- Combines fluoridated rubber + silicone, or
- Fluoridated silicone + silicone
- Allows for precise material layering and strong inter-material bonding
- Reinforcement & Final Coating:
- Textile reinforcement made of aramid fiber (e.g., Kevlar) for:
- High tensile strength
- Pressure resistance
- Thermal stability
- Finished with an external silicone coating for:
- Protection from environmental exposure
- Improved flexibility and surface durability
