In a testament to innovation, engineering excellence, and unwavering commitment, SETIC POURTIER has successfully delivered a state-of-the-art 2600 mm double twist machine—a significant milestone achieved in just 16 months.
The journey began in November 2023 with an initial customer visit to SETIC POURTIER’s facility, culminating in March 2025 with the delivery of this cutting-edge machine. Designed specifically for medium-voltage cable production, the 2600 mm model promises a game-changing threefold increase in productivity compared to traditional rigid stranding solutions—all without requiring a greater investment.
A representative from the customer, who will soon receive the machine in Finland, described it as “a revolution” in their production capability. This marks just one of 22 double twist machine deliveries made by SETIC POURTIER this year, with more than 220 units operating globally. The new 2600 mm unit also has four sister machines preparing for shipment—further proof of the company’s growth and customer trust.
